Your tour begins at a central location in Sarasota, near Lido Beach.

After launching the kayaks, your guide provides a lesson on paddling and safety before leading you on a narrated trip around the bay in search of manatees and dolphins, a common sight in these waters. Then head through shady tunnels where you will see more wildlife as you kayak under an amazing canopy formed by mangroves.

The kayaks are easy to manage and very stable, and they feature a hull shape that increases glide and ease of paddling. Life jackets and paddles are provided.

Meet your expert kayak guide at 8:30am inside the park at Fisherman's Loop inside Myakka River State Park (entrance fee not included). Here you'll receive instruction on kayaking and safety before your small group of 8 or less paddles out onto the scenic river. Your guide will share stories about the waters and introduce you to their unique habitats and wildlife. After exploring by kayak, you'll head over to the Pink Gator Café for lunch (included).

After the morning kayak portion at Fisherman's Loop, guests will caravan or carpool over to the Outpost for the afternoon portion, so your car (or a ride back to your car) will be available at the Outpost after the tour ends.

Get ready to saddle up for a bike-and-hike with park rangers who will take you out on the trails to see how the park protects this fragile and dynamic ecosystem. The bike trail loops around, ending at the Myakka River State Park Outpost at 4:00pm.

Fishing is great all year round, and there is such diversity of areas that even on windy days there are plenty of places to fish. Among the Bay you can fish one of the many barrier islands, and hundreds of miles of backcountry water shoreline, making this a trip to truly enjoy.

The Captain provides fishing instructions and casting lessons which are all included for beginners and advanced techniques for the experts. Tours are suited for both first-timers, experienced anglers, elderly, youth, families and children of all ages and are handicap friendly. So everyone is sure to have a blast as you fish with ease and comfort of the calm backwater never worrying about being seasick.

Fish comfortably in our 22’ boats, accommodates max of 4 people plus the captain, and are equipped with GPS, VHF radio, live-bait tank, livewells to keep your catch.

While out on the water, the boat will have a cooler on board with ice and bottled water to keep you hydrated. There's plenty of space to bring lunch sandwiches or your additional favorite beverage. Alcohol beverages in cans are permitted. Never concern your selves of the worry of restrooms, as there are few along our path.

The trip always includes the use of rods, reels and tackle, bait, lures, and fishing licenses. Legal catch will also be cleaned and packaged for you at the end of the day.
